FAVOR AND SHIELD

Psalm 5:11 – 12 (NKJV)

“But let those rejoice who put their trust in you; let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them; let those also who love your name be joyful in you.  For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor you will surround him as with a shield.”

Psalm 3:3 – 4 (NKJV)

“But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head.  I cried to the Lord with my voice and He heard me from His holy hill.”

Proverbs 3:4 (NKJV)

“And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.”

Prayer:

Lord, I pray that pastors will continually rejoice and always put their trust in You; You are their defender.  Because they love Your Name, they are joyful in You.  I thank You that You bless the righteous and with favor You surround them as with a shield.  You, O Lord are their shield, their glory and the One who lifts up their heads.  You hear them from Your holy hill when they cry out to You.  I thank You that they find favor, good understanding and high esteem in Your sight and in the sight of men.
